NDIS Approved Providers will now move from PRODA to Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) and myID

The way providers and their employees log in to NDIA systems is changing.

To strengthen security and prevent fraud, providers will move from using PRODA to a new system that combines myID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).
myID is the Australian Government’s Digital ID app. It is a simple and secure way for you to prove who you are online.

What you need to do now?

  • Check the required identity documents and set up your digital identity using myID.
  • myID has three identity strength levels:
    • ‘basic’, ‘standard’, and ‘strong’.
  • You’ll need to choose the right level based on your role:
    • The principal authority, a director or owner of the business, will need a ‘strong’ identity strength.

  • If you already use RAM with other government services like the Australian Taxation Office, the process will be familiar. If not,  a  Provider Resource pack that includes templates were put together to guide providers and their employees with these changes.
